Despite being invited to make a calendar for women, Cuban William Levy said he's "too old" to be posing semi-nude.
According to information published by People en Español, the actor and telenovela star has filmed many scenes in which his torso is uncovered by the request of his producers, and was invited by actor Julián Gil to pose for a calendar for women to help various charities.
Regarding the latter, Levy said during Televisa's entertainment show "Hoy" that he is not planning to take his clothes off again because he thinks he's too mature for it, "I've helped many charities, but honestly I'm too old to be doing this again", the "La Tempestad" star said, quoted by People.
During the same interview, when asked about his plans within Mexican media, 33-year-old Levy said he plans to retire from telenovelas for some time, adding without further details that there are other priorities in his life.
"I don't know, I honestly think so. I think that as time passes you choose other priorities in life. So I think so, this has been too much work", he said.
Entertainment magazine TVNotas added that William spoke of his work as an actor, explaining that it is a very demanding profession, with many responsibilities and that he has to invest too much time in every project he does, "I'd say telenovelas are the hardest work between TV and film. It's very hard, there's a lot of work hours".
With the intention of spending more time with his family and dedicating to personal projects, William expressed his philosophy of enjoying life with loved ones and spending time with them. "I want to spend more time with my friends, my children, my family. There's only one life and when you realize that, it's already gone".
Among the actor's plans, his intention to return to American cinema stands out, where he already participated in films like "Addicted" and "Single Moms Club". His next project will be alongside with Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of Will Smith, in the movie "Salsa".
