It's been out for a couple of months, yet the Samsung Galaxy S3 is one of the most talked about and purchased mobile devices.

Have you considered buying it but not sure if it's worth the $189.99 to $199.99 price tag?

Latinos Post has gathered some of the best reviews for the Galaxy S3, and why CNET considers it a "tidy package."

Features on the Galaxy S3 include an energetic Super AMOLED HD display with 720p resolution, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, an eight-megapixel camera; 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, large room for internal memory, and 2GB RAM.

According to CNET, the addition of the Ice Cream Sandwich, 4G LTE/HSPA+ 42 capability, and the eight-megapixel camera are good reasons for the Galaxy S3.

"Samsung has used some excellent 8-megapixel cameras in the Samsung Galaxy S II phones, and I'm happy to report that this 8-megapixel camera lens, with backlit sensor and LED flash, is worthy of a flagship phone," reported CNET.

They added, "Pumped with high-performing hardware and creative software features, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is an excellent, top-end phone that's neck and neck with the HTC One X."

Lee Bell of The Inquirer noted the Samsung phone's performance and memory space. Bell stated the Galaxy S3 has twice the memory of the iPhone 4S with 1GB or RAM compared to the 512MB for the iPhone 4S. The Samsung device runs on a qual-core processor of 1.4GHz compared to Apple's dual core CPU of 800MHz. Web page speed is also impressive for the Galaxy S3 with 21Mbit/s compared to iPhone 4S 14.4Mbit/s.

According to the aptly named Trusted Reviews, Edward Chester credits Samsung for making an "excellent" screen, noting it as a "huge upgrade over most screens from previous generations."

The size of the screen provides better quality for watching videos or playing games.

"Its sheer size is enthralling when watching video or playing games, making the iPhone 4S look positively backward in this regard," writes Chester.

The collaboration with Dropbox also provides the Galaxy S3 with large storage room. Dropbox, a cloud storage provider, allows users to upload images as soon as it's taken to ensure the already massive storage room of the Galaxy S3 remains that way.

Chester also notes the battery life of the Galaxy S3 (2100mAH) puts the device "a little ahead of the competition," as most devices come with 1800mAH or small batteries.

IGN's Nic Vargus also reviewed the battery life, "While LTE is a notorious battery killer, the Samsung Galaxy S3 faired well even after a day of intermittent internet surfing (which was, like everything on the S3, blazing fast). Even better, the 2100mAH battery is replaceable, so after a year or so of use, you can swap your slightly burned out battery for a little extra juice."

Vargus added, "The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the full package - it's pretty (of course, not too pretty), it's screaming fast (both online and off), it's expandable, and it's reasonably priced."

Has this helped you decide on buying or upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S3? Or patiently waiting for Apple's iPhone 5?
