In the most recent episode of "Beauty and the Beast," Cat finds Vince, but he ends up showing her his beastly side.
The episode opens on a press conference featuring Gabe (Sendhil Ramamurthy) speaking about Zhao's murder, and that Vincent must be found before he hurts--or kills--anyone else. Cat (Kristin Kreuk) says that she's going to try something to make him remember their past together: set up a picnic on the roof where she and Vince used to spend time. J.T. (Austin Basis) gives Cat a stun gun, and she goes out to hunt down Vince.
Vincent eventually shows up on the roof, but he is wary of her and her intentions. Once Cat brings up Zhao, Vince leaves without another word. Cat tries to follow him with the help of J.T. and Tess' (Nina Lisandrello) tracking device. Vince then goes to a building near Rickers where he shoots a prisoner with something that makes him foam at the mouth, then pretends to be a doctor with the help of a fake ID. He takes the prisoner, who is a known drug dealer, and demands to know about a mysterious"asset."
Vince then goes to he parking lot where Cat has been trailing him. He grabs her, uses a pressure point on her neck to force her to pass out, then drives off with her. Vince ties Cat up and puts her blindfolded in a room on a boat. Vince thinks she is trying to track him down to turn him in, and she tries to convince him that that simply isn't true; she is looking out for his best interests.
While Tess, Gabe and J.T. try to track Cat's whereabouts, Vince says that he finds himself drawn to Cat. He begins asking questions about their relationship, which eventually leads to a kiss. They continue kissing and before long, they end up sleeping together. But sadly, even sex with his former love did not bring back any memories of their relationship.
Meanwhile, Gabe takes Tess and J.T. off the case and leaves to find Cat on his own. He finds Cat on the boat, bound to the chair once again, and Vince is gone. They see that there's a message on the computer that he is going to meet Gina Garolo, a family member of a rival of Carlos Hernandez, the drug dealer Vincent shot. Another man comes to the club where they are meeting to kill Gina, causing both Vince and the man to go into vicious beast mode. Cat, witnessing the fight, realizes that there are other "beasts" like Vincent still alive.
Later, Gabe finds out that Carlos gave money to Muifield to buy a solider like Vincent. When Vince attacked Carlos, he wasn't asking about his drug deals, he was asking about a fellow "beast." The gang worries that Vincent has been "bought" the way the other man was. Later on, when Vincent shows up on the roof of Cat's apartment building, Cat asks Vince if someone bought him, or is trying to control him. Vince gets angry, transforms into a beast and throws Cat down. Cat crawls away, terrified, and all he can do is apologize. Cat then realizes that she'll need some serious help with Vince, because he is definitely not who he once was.
On the next episode, "Liar Liar," Vincent is a suspect in a series of new beast attacks. In a promo for the new episode, Tess is talking about the beast attacks, and suspects Vince of being involved. Cat says she'll be going on a date with Vincent, but at one point in the episode, she is spotted pulling a gun. The promo also shows Vince going back into beast mode.
In other "Beauty and the Beast" news, TVLine has confirmed that 90210 actress Riley Smith will appear in episodes seven and eight as "The Bombmaker," a hired assassin with a speciality in explosives who has a vengeance against beasts like Vince.
