The Nokia Lumia 520 continues its dominance in India, according to new Windows Phone statistics.
Based on smartphone market share figures gathered by AdDuplex on Oct. 11, the Lumia 520 is the most utilized Windows Phone device in India with 40.6 percent. The Lumia 520's percentage is an increase of 0.6 percent form Sept. 20's data collection.

The Lumia 520 is priced at Rs. 10,099 in India, which is approximately $164 when converted to the U.S. dollar.
The Lumia 720 finished in second place with 13.4 percent of the Windows Phone market share, and it is an increase of 0.2 percent from September.
The Lumia 620 maintained second place but fell by 0.1 percent. AdDuplex's data saw the Lumia 620 with 10.8 percent of the Windows Phone market share for Oct. 11.
The Lumia 710 toppled the Lumia 510 for fourth place as it received 6.4 percent compared to the latter's 5.5 percent.
As WMPowerUser noted, the Lumia 625 made its debut on the latest AdDuplex statistics with 3.1 percent, or ninth place.
"The Nokia Lumia 625 was designed for India, offering a large screened device with mid-range specs at an affordable price," WMPowerUser wrote.
The report later added, "If [the Lumia 625's] growth continues it is likely that it will soon become the 5th most popular Windows Phone in the region next month, and hopefully grow from there."
Of the top 10 Windows Phone devices AdDuplex gathered in October, all smartphones were Nokia Lumia gadgets. Unlike September's figures, the Samsung Omnia fell of the charts.
