France will look to take down Finland in a crucial World Cup 2014 qualifying match Tuesday.

France must win and hope for some luck in order to clinch an automatic berth in the World Cup next summer. Spain currently leads the group with 17 points and only needs a draw in its final match against Georgia to book a spot in next year's tournament.

France is coming off a huge 6-0 win against Australia that featured prominent goals from Olivier Giroud and Karim Benzema. According to numerous reports, Giroud will get the start against Finland on Tuesday.

"I've played for France for two years," Giroud said, according to the Mirror. "When I got the chance to start, it always went well.

"I've always been patient and I'm proud of that."

Regarding France's other forward Benzema (who scored his first goal since 2012), Giroud was positive.

"With Karim, we haven't spoken about it, we don't need to. There's no problem with him, and I'm happy he scored. I like our relationship," said Giroud about being picked over the Real Madrid striker.

Benzema also expressed relief over finally scoring his first goal since June 2012 against Estonia.

"I have managed to score the goal that had weighed a little on my mind. I thank all the team who have been behind me," he said, according to Real Madrid News. "It was nice to be supported by the public. There is another game on Tuesday (against Finland) and we will need the win."

Prediction: France will win this game 2-0, but will be praying for a Spanish loss by two or more goals to get through to the World Cup; that scenario is highly unlikely.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 4 p.m. EST
