Iceland will look to clinch a playoff spot in the World Cup qualifiers when it takes on Norway in a crucial match on Tuesday.

Iceland has complete control over its own destiny and only needs a victory in Norway to move on to the second round of qualifiers. The pressure on the team is at its peak, but the players are not afraid of it.

"We are young and do not scare easily," said midfielder Aron Gunnarsson according to UEFA.com. "We have already put pressure on ourselves and now we just have to handle it. We have Norway on Tuesday, which will be the most important game we have ever played. The Norwegians will not give us anything, like we wouldn't give them anything. They have nothing to lose so they might play well, but we just have to think about our game, stay cool and everything will be OK."

Norway is already eliminated from contention with 11 points in nine games; the team was eliminated in its last match against Slovenia. With an opportunity to jump back into the race for second, Norway was torched 3-0 in Maribor.

Iceland only leads Slovenia by one point and could potentially fall out of first place if Slovenia defeats Switzerland in its final game. The Swiss have already clinched the top spot in the group and are headed to Brazil next summer. A Swiss win over Slovenia would clinch the playoff spot for Iceland.

"Now this is all about what we do," said Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson in the same report. "We do not expect any favors from Switzerland, and it is great to go and have a shot at the play-offs. That has been our goal for the whole competition, but now we have to get down to work and be ready for Norway."

Prediction: Iceland will come out with a tremendous amount of intensity and should win this game 2-0.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 2 p.m. EST
