Japan will take on Belarus in an international friendly Tuesday.

The Samurais are coming off a tough 2-0 loss against Serbia in an international friendly on Friday. The loss was Japan's first since it was defeated by Uruguay on Aug. 14. Between the two defeats Japan managed a 3-0 win against Guatemala and a 3-1 victory over Ghana. Since being blown out of the Confederations Cup with three straight losses in the group stage, Japan has managed to put together a streak of four wins, one draw and two losses. The lone draw was a 3-3 tie against China PR.

The team will face a Belarusian team that has struggled to generate any excitement in the World Cup qualifiers. Belarus' most recent match was a well-organized 2-1 loss against Spain. The team played well defensively throughout the match but fell victim to superior talent from the Spaniards. Despite being out-possessed, Belarus managed to create a number of chances and scored late in the game.

Belarus finished its World Cup qualifying campaign with one win, one draw and six losses. The team scored seven goals but conceded 16 in the process. The lone victory came against Georgia at home; the draw was against Finland at home.

Prediction: Japan is the superior team and is looking to improve its play prior to next summer's World Cup. Expect the Samurais to dominate and win 2-0.

Start Time: Kick-off gets underway at 8:15 a.m. EST
