Posting selfies online may not be a good idea if you plan to upload a picture in which you are bathing in cash...especially if your mom is under investigation for embezzling $230 million from a nation's fund.

Jeane Napoles, the daughter behind the reported 10-billion pesos pork barrel scam in the Philippines, is now under investigation for tax fraud after she posted a picture of herself bathing in cash. There are reports from the Philippines that the picture is not real and the person is not Jeane Napoles. May it be her or not, the Bureau of Internal Revenue still looks determined to file a case against her for evading taxes. Apparently, after the bureau reviewed her tax files, it was found that she is a registered taxpayer and have not been paying U.S. tax returns since 2008.

Jeane's infamy in the Philippines started when the citizens saw pictures of her lavish and privileged lifestyle on her social media accounts. She currently owns a $1.3million Ritz Carlton condominium in L.A. and a $339,000 home in the Philippines. This has sparked outrage among the Filipino people who are mostly living in poverty.
