One YouTuber has taken advantage of the early purchase and posted nearly 30 minutes of gameplay footage from "Pokémon X."
The first 10 minutes include the language selection, introducing from Kalos Professor Augustine Sycamore, and neighbors Serena and Shauna.
The adventures begin in Vaniville Town and the protagonist has to make their way to a group of friends in Aquacorde Town, where they'll get to select the Kalos starter Pokémon, either Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie.
The player will later have his or her first rival battle against Shauna. If the player chooses Fennekin, then Shauna apparently selects Fennekin.
A second gameplay walkthrough, approximately 17 minutes long, features the return of Youngster Joey but no Rattata was shown.
A cutscene and battle with the legendary Xerneas was also uploaded on YouTube as well as the Mega Evolution of Abomasnow.
As Latinos Post reported, the latest Pokémon leaks come as the Gym Leaders for the Kalos region were shown online. The eight new Gym Leaders specialties range from Bug, Rock, Grass, Electric, Psychic, and the new Fairy type, to name a few.
"Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" will be released in North America, Europe, Japan and Australia on Oct. 12 for the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 2DS. The games have a suggested retail price of $39.99, each.
