Television’s most lovable geeks are back in full swing. Season 7, Episode 4 of “The Big Bang Theory” airs later this week, and a brand new promo hints at a major development in Sheldon and Amy’s relationship.
The episode is titled “The Raiders Minimization” and will follow Sheldon’s quest for revenge after Amy ruins one of his favorite movies. Meanwhile, Leonard discovers a new trick that gets Penny to do anything, and the new confident Raj creates an online dating profile with Stuart. Yes, Raj dips his toes in Internet dating. This will be fantastic.
While fans may be happy to hear that Amy and Sheldon are moving forward with their relationship, they may be taking steps in the wrong direction. A new promo of the upcoming episode shows nothing but regret written across both their faces. Check it out below.
This won’t be Sheldon’s first folly with Amy, and it won’t be the last. Fans are well aware that Amy has been anxiously been waiting to take the next step in her relationship with Sheldon, but she doesn’t make that too apparent after Sheldon tried to play her arm candy. In fact, Sheldon made a complete buffoon out of himself when he got hurt while ‘manning up,’ literally. Young awkward love. What a beautiful thing.
Not only that, but Sheldon’s big mouth may get him into even more trouble. “I do end up telling people, colleagues of Amy Farrah Fowler, because he thinks it’s a good thing to tell them, that they’ve got a good relationship and a physical one and that one time he spanked her,” said Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon on the show. “Which I did. And I think his willingness to admit that explains how he felt about that. It needed to happen. It wasn’t pleasurable. It hurts me more than it hurts you.”
“The Big Bang Theory” airs on Thursday nights on CBS.
