Mexican singer and actress Belinda certainly looks amazing as the cover girl of the October issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. The 24-year-old star, who served as a judge for the Mexican version of the popular singing competition "The X Factor," talked about love and life as a single girl, according to news site Tv y Espectáculos.
"The person who deserves my madness is yet to come," said the singer, who confessed she is currently single and ready to mingle.
Back in August, Belinda caused quite a stir when she shared a controversial photo through her Twitter page. In the picture, the singer could be seen covered in fake bruises as if she had been cruelly hit or had suffered an accident.
Belinda originally captioned the photo, "I've been through the worst accident imaginable, but I'm alive. Thank you life." Her fans started to ask her if she was alright, while several media outlets wanted to know exactly what had happened.
Belinda was then forced to clarify that the image was part of a publicity stunt for her upcoming concert in Mexico City
"This picture is part of the catharsis that we'll all go through together on August 16 in the National Auditorium! Hope I see you all there," she wrote.
Belinda then posted a second picture in which she could be seen once again with injuries all over her face, but this time a man, who was also injured, appeared next to her. "I love art in all its forms ... We all have our catharsis and this is mine," she captioned the image.
According to People en Español, the starlet explained the bruises were done by a makeup artist and that she had shared the picture to promote her upcoming tour, Catarsis.
This year, Belinda participated in the Spanish-language version of "The X Factor," that also featured veteran Mexican singer/actress Angélica María and Venezuelan reggaeton duo Chino y Nacho.
"Since I agreed to do this program I have been very honest with everything. I think that my high-standards and sincerity have helped the girls on my team evolve and improve a lot," said Belinda. Every human being is different, each voice, each personality, so I give each of them the advice I think they need. I don't give the same advice to everyone because all of them need to improve something different."
