The sixth season of "Sons of Anarchy" continues to roll out with roaring engines and the stench of burning rubber. Now entering the belly of the season, SAMCRO has never been in such a fragile state. Recently episodes have been plagued with death and betrayal, and an early glimpse at this week's episode, titled "The Mad King," the blood will continue to flow.
A new sneak peek of the episode features Jax as he pursues someone who may point him in the direction of the Irish. As if the club needs more follies, Galen and Connor make the mistake of delivering two dead bodies and firearms to the Sons, directly disobeying Jax' orders from last week's episode.
Meanwhile, the feds reach out to Roosevelt as they dig for details on the school shooting that rocked the Season 6 premiere in September. Gemma visits Clay at the prison to inform him of Jax plans to make a truce, affirming that the only thing in his way are the Irish. Check out the clip for yourself below.
There's no telling when the bloodbath will end, as murder seems to be the central theme of the season so far. For fans still reveling in the bloodshed that ensued during this week's episode, showrunner Kurt Sutter and the cast opened up about the details regarding their morbid decisions. What's most pressing, the death of Otto, played by Sutter himself. Why would they take him out after he killed Toric? Entertainment Weekly has the answers.
"I just felt like Otto has killed so many f-ing people in jail at this point, I could not have him do some other horrific act of violence and not take a half-dozen bullets in the chest because it would have been too ridiculous for him to get away with yet another one," Sutter said. "So, I was like alright. It's time to go."
"Sons of Anarchy" airs Tuesday nights on FX.
