Arsenal will look to retake the top spot in the Premier League when it matches up against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.
Arsenal currently has a 10-game winning streak that stretches back to Aug. 21. More importantly, the club is coming off one of its top performances this past week in the Champions League. In that game, Arsenal completely nullified Napoli in the first half of the match and scored two goals in the opening 12 minutes.
Despite the terrific win streak, not all is rosy for the Gunners. Coach Arsene Wenger recently criticized Jack Wilshere for smoking despite noting that the midfielder was essential to his plans moving forward.
"He's an important player of the squad, but there's a competition for places of course," stated Wenger, according to ESPN. "On one side people want you to have good players, on the other side that means you cannot give any guarantee to anybody."
He did note that the midfielder was uncomfortable with his currently position at left midfield, but insisted that Wilshere needed to prove himself adaptable around the field.
"You ask every good football player where you want to play, they say in the centre. Nobody says I want to play wide," Wenger noted. "Jack can play basically everywhere. What I say at the moment, I don't see him higher up. He is getting it back [to full fitness] and I think to play on the flanks helps him to find that."
West Bromwich Albion is coming off a shocking 2-1 win over Manchester United last weekend.
Prediction: The two sides draw 1-1.
