Jennifer Lawrence has detailed her experience of being called fat.
In the new Bazaar UK issue Lawrence revealed that producers said she would be fired if she did not lose weight. "It was just the kind of [expletive] that actresses have to go through. Somebody told me I was fat, that I was going to get fired if I didn't lose a certain amount of weight. They brought in pictures of me where I was basically naked, and told me to use them as motivation for my diet. They thought that because of the way my career had gone, it wouldn't still hurt me," Lawrence told Bazaar UK.
She added that after the experience she curses anyone out if they call her fat. She said, "If anybody even tries to whisper the word 'diet', I'm like, 'You can go [expletive] yourself.'"
Lawrence is one of the busiest actresses working in Hollywood. She recently won an Academy Award for her work on "Silver Linings Playbook" and was previously nominated for her breakout turn in "Winter's Bone." Lawrence has also appeared in "X-Men: First Class," "Like Crazy" and "The Burning Plain."
Lawrence is currently promoting "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and finishing work on the last two installments of the series. She will also star in "American Hustle" this December with Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner. Lawrence will also appear in "Dumb and Dumber To," "X-Men: Days of Future Past," "Serena," and has just signed on to the adaptation to John Steinback's "East of Eden."
