Drake didn’t surprise anyone with his new album. That’s not to say that it’s success fell short, quite the opposite rather, but everyone expected him to dominate the charts. Nothing Was the Same was one of the most anticipated albums of 2013, and when it dropped, it followed the success of its predecessor, Take Care, with poise and grace. It’s a monster.
So what’s next? A tour would deem fitting. Drake announced the official dates of his “Would You Like a Tour” tour before the album debuted, but now a new promo video features the rapper/singer truly pumping himself up for the his grueling schedule.
The tour kicks off October 18, and in order to prepare, Drake spent the last few weeks getting into shape. He doesn’t want to risk any setback during his long stint on the road. In the teaser, Drizzy partakes in a slew of absurd workout regimens reminiscent of an ultimate fighter training camp, chock full of ropes, tires and sweat. Lovely. If a jacked Drake is something you’ve been dying to lay your eyes on, then take a look at the video below.
Drake hits the road later this month, making his first stop in Pittsburgh. Checkout a complete list of tour dates.
