The hit series “Suits” is currently amidst its midseason break, but that doesn’t stop fans from digging up whatever they can on what’s to come. The firm is in a state of perpetual turmoil as inner office relationships reach a dangerous boiling point. So of course it’s natural for fans to crave a midseason snack. You can’t expect them to sit down and wait out the long months until its return in silence.
And as the Season 1 clouds begin to clear, another brewing storm on the horizon hints at more trouble for Harvey. Patrick Fischler, from “Lost” and “Mad Men,” will be joining the “Suits” cast as Gabriel Macht’s (Harvey) legal rival. Fischler will play A. Eliot Stemple, a Harvard Law School classmate of Harvey’s with whom he has a unique and tense history, TVLine reports.
The Harvey turmoil doesn’t stop there either, but not all is bad. Executive producer Aaron Korsh was kind enough to share some insight on the future of Harvey and Donna’s dicey relationship, and it may not be what fans expected.
“Donna, regardless of what her feelings may or may not be about Harvey and Scottie, cares about Harvey," he said. “She wants him to be happy and is going to try and help him in this relationship like she did last year in [Episode] 216. That’s what’s going on for them in these last six."
"I think both Harvey and Donna might be surprised by what it brings up for them, the issues in their relationship that they need to address and ultimately that they are incredibly loyal to each other and have a really solid foundation," said Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna on the show.
Regardless, once “Suits” returns the winter, Harvey is going to have to deal with past mistakes while battling new challenges. What more could fans expect?
