Bluebell is about to get prettier. As if the lush gardens and shimmering sunshine weren’t enough, a blonde southern belle will be gracing the quaint little town.
Danielle Bradbery, the most recent winner of NBC’s popular singing competition series “The Voice,” will be joining the cast of “Hart of Dixie” for its upcoming third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Bradbery, 17, will appear in the eighth episode of Season 3, where she will perform her debut single titled, believe it or not, “The Heart of Dixie.”
The tune, peaked at No. 58 on Billboard Hot 100 and No. 16 on the Billboard U.S. Country Songs chart. The music video, which debuted September 23, has earned more than 1 million views on YouTube. Check out the stunning video below.
While Bradbery will be busy belting out heart melting tunes, Zoe Hart will have her hands full juggling a new romance. Scott Porter, who plays George on the show, believes that Zoe and George's "borderline unhealthy infatuation" needs to be dealt with, but that the two aren't going to link up anytime soon. Zoe will no longer have two toys to monkey around. The flame is gone, but Zoe will simply strike another match.
Zoe and Wade may get back together at some point, however, in the meantime Zoe will have her hands full with a new love interest Joel, played by Josh Cooke, who will stick around for a major arc. Although it’s not certain that Joel will spark romance in Zoe, but his description as a “New Yorker moving to Bluebell” implies that Zoe may have no problem getting over Wade.
“Hart of Dixie” will return to The CW October 7.
