Although the leaker did not provide details on a potential release date, two promotional advertisements were attached to the tweet.
For the iPhone 5c, the alleged Boost Mobile banner stated "Brilliant Colors. Brilliant Plan." The iPhone 5s banner stated "Legendary Phone. Legendary Plan."
The two posters also had the tagline "The only monthly unlimited plan w/ Shrinking Payments."
The "leak" comes as nine additional mobile carriers officially started to sell the iPhone 5s. As Latinos Post reported, Oct. 1 is the release date for the iPhone 5s with Appalachian Wireless, Bluegrass Cellular, C Spire, Cellcom, GCI, MTA, Nex-Tech Wireless, Ntelos, Strata and Virgin Mobile.
In regards to features for the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s are, for the most part, the phones feature the same specifications as the discontinued iPhone 5, such as the 4-inch Retina Display with 1,136x640 resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and 1080p HD video recording camera.
The iPhone 5s features a larger f/2.2 aperture for the rear-facing camera with the aim of improving low-light photography. The iPhone 5s utilizes the A7 processor chip with 64-bit architecture, which plays a critical role with the Touch ID. The iPhone 5s will be available in the traditional black and white models, but also a gold variant as well.
For the iPhone 5c, the smartphone keeps the A6 chip and is offered in blue, green, pink, white and yellow variants.
The iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c initially went on sale on Sept. 20 across Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States.
