Arsenal will take on West Bromwich Albion in its first match of the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.

The English side is coming off its sixth straight win in all competitions, but faces a tough task with yet another major injury to Theo Walcott. Arsenal is already without starters such as Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla.

"Theo will be out for a few weeks. He has developed some damage to his posterior abdominal wall. It's not a hernia, but it's a little structural problem in his abdomen," said Coach Arsene Wenger, according to ESPN. "He will have the procedure in Germany on Wednesdayand, because it's so minor, we can begin his rehab immediately.

"We are pleased it's being dealt with quickly and he shouldn't miss too many Arsenal matches. But he will miss the forthcoming international matches with England."

Fortunately the team is slated to get back Danish forward Nicklas Bendtner who could see some action in the tournament match on Wednesday.

"We have a Capital One Cup game at West Bromwich Albion on Wednesday and I will rotate the team, of course. Nicklas Bendtner has a chance to be involved," stated Wenger, according ESPN. "Rotating the squad is important because we play again on Saturday and after that we have a massive home game in the Champions League [against Napoli]. We will need everyone to play their part."

Prediction: Arsenal should continue its winning streak but faces a tough task on the road. Expect the winning streak to come to an end in a 2-2 draw.

Start Time: 3 p.m. EST
