According to the invite, "Zoom into details that reveal more than your eyes can see. Get closer than ever before. See things you've never seen before. Discover and rediscover new stories."
The invite was noted to be from Nokia India's managing director and director of smart devices.
The event is set for Sept. 26, and it will come one month after Nokia launched the Lumia 925.
"Lumia 1020 launch in India is earlier than expected and I guess it will be in the retail stores starting from first week of October," reported WMPowerUser.
As Latinos Post reported, the Lumia 1020 was spotted in India's Flipkart website. Although Flipkart did not specify on price or a specific release date, the website stated the Lumia 1020 was "coming soon."
