Love is generally synonymous with spring, but this fall, it dances in the cool air with the falling leaves. One of the year’s most anticipated weddings is now right around the corner, and fans of the hit series “Bones” couldn’t be more excited.

During last night’s Primetime Emmy Awards, TVLine caught up with “Bones” actress Emily Deschanel, who dished several juicy details regarding Brennan and Booth’s approaching wedding episode.

“It was funny. We were getting ready and he walked into the hair and makeup trailer as I’m getting my hair done and I’m like, ‘Don’t look at me. Don’t look at me. You’re not supposed to see me. I’m like the bride,’” Deschanel said. “But then it took us two days to shoot the wedding scene, which is the same because we’ve never even taken one day to shoot one scene before.”

“So it did feel like a real wedding,” she added. “I’ve had a relationship with these people and David Boreanaz and our characters have been having this, kind of, not necessarily romantic as long, but been in this kind of relationship for longer than I’ve been with my husband. So it’s kind of like, it felt like a wedding in this weird way with friends and it was a lot of fun.”

Despite the off camera antics and festivities, she also hinted at what the fans will see once the episode airs. “They wrote their own vows. Booth kind of speaks from the heart and Brennan is a little more prepared. Maybe years in preparation.”

And what’s next? “We’re going on our honeymoon,” Deschanel teased. “We’re going to Buenos Aires.”

"Bones” airs Monday nights on FOX.
