The anime series for "Pokémon X and Y" is set to make its preview in October and just in time, new drawings have been revealed.
As Latinos Post reported, the next season of the anime season will be named "Pokémon the Series: XY" and Ash Ketchum remains as the franchise's protagonist.
September and October are big months for the anime series, particularly in Japan, as the current season, based on the fifth-generation "Black and White" saga, wraps up and Cilan and Iris make their goodbyes. The sixth-generation-based season will debut in Japan on Oct. 17.

While the full season of "Pokémon the Series: XY" will start in the U.S. in early 2014, The Pokémon Company International announced a two-episode preview will air on Cartoon Network on Oct. 19 following the latest film "Pokémon the Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened," featuring Mewtwo and its new form.
In time for the two-episode sneak peak are new drawings on characters from the Kalos region.
Pokémon's Japanese broadcaster, TV Tokyo, revealed Ketchum's new traveling companions and it might be similar to the Hoenn series. During the third generation, Ketchum had three traveling companions consisting of a gym leader (Brock), a trainer (May), and a little kid (Max), and the Kalos-based saga might follow the formula.
A Kalos gym leader will follow Ketchum, and that is Clemont. His little sister Bonnie will tag along for the adventure. Taking the role of "another trainer" is Serena, who is the female protagonist of the "Pokémon X and Y" video games.
Team Rocket and their boss Giovanni have been confirmed to continue their meddling in the new season as Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy received another makeover.
A new Japanese trailer was released to coincide with the new aforementioned information.
