Mexican singer, Paulina Rubio, attacked a photographer, accusing him of wanting to kill her. Gerardo Bazúa, the singer's boyfriend, also punched the paparazzo, shared entertainment magazine, TVNotas.
The aggression from the 42-year-old singer took place last Sept 4, where photographer, Alfredo Tapanes, 57, was punched and scratched while taking pictures of the singer in Miami.
According to the article, Paulina Rubio and Gerardo Bazúa, 28, were exercising on bicycles on city streets. When they noticed that Alfredo Tapanes took their photographs, they quickly reacted aggressively until the photographer ended up in the hospital.
"When I was leaving in my truck to leave the island, I saw a woman in a bicycle whose clothes caught my eye, because she was wearing sports clothes but with a pink hat and I realized it was Paulina, I kept going and overcame her a good distance to park my car, get out and take some photographs of her and her boyfriend Gerardo," the photographer explained in an interview with the entertainment magazine.
Telemundo explains that the singer told authorities that the photographer started the fight against her and her boyfriend. Police arrived at the scene and took a statement from everyone involved.
Images published by QueMeDices show the singer, who was taking pictures with her cellphone, and her boyfriend in sports clothes. Another picture showed the photographer being aided by an emergency service crew who placed a collar around his neck and transported him to the hospital in a stretcher.
The source indicates that the paparazzo presented contusions and a cervical dislocation from the aggressions suffered. Paulina's lawyer arrived at the place of the incident to pick her up, while firemen and policemen arrived and stopped traffic. Another image from the website shows the couple's bicycles abandoned on the ground which were picked up minutes later by one of Paulina's assistants.
