The Nokia Lumia 1020 Windows Phone 8 smartphone is set to make its debut in the world's second-largest country.
According to Flipkart, the Lumia 1020 and its 41-megapixel sensor is set to arrive in India. The website has listed the Lumia 1020 as "Coming Soon."

While the price for the Lumia 1020 has not been listed on Flipkart yet, it is noted that the device will be shipped for free if the smartphone cost more than Rs. 500, which is approximately $8 when converted to the U.S. dollar.
To put potential prices in perspective, Flipkart offers the Lumia 920 for Rs. 26,999, which is about $426 in the U.S.
Exclusive U.S. mobile carrier AT&T has the Lumia 1020, at its full price, at $609.99, which converts to Rs. 38,652 in India. The converted price might not be the final price once Flipkart offers the Lumia 1020, but it could be an estimation.
The online retailer will grant a one-year warranty for the phone with six months warranty for the accessories in the Lumia 1020's box.
Flipkart is offering potential Lumia 1020 buyers to submit their emails and receive notification when the Windows Phone 8 smartphone is in stock.

In latest developments, AT&T reduced the price of the Lumia 1020 to $199.99. The Lumia 1020 launched exclusively for AT&T on July 26 initially for $299.99.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels, and also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
