Apple's iPhone 5c smartphone is accepting pre-orders as of Sept. 13, a week ahead its official sale date.
The iPhone 5c is available for $99 when purchasing the 16GB model and signing a two-year contract with either AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon Wireless. The 32GB model will cost the consumer an additional $100.

Absent from the $99 and $199 price tag is the fourth-largest mobile carrier in the United States, T-Mobile.
Apple is selling the iPhone 5c unlocked and contract-free with T-Mobile instead. With T-Mobile the 16GB model of the iPhone 5c is priced at $549 while the 32GB model is $649.
"If you buy iPhone for T-Mobile, it will arrive with a nano-SIM card already installed that you can activate by visiting an Apple Retail Store or a T-Mobile store or by calling T-Mobile," noted Apple.
The iPhone 5c will be available at the Apple Store and its authorized retailers starting Sept. 20.
The new Apple device features the same specifications as the original iPhone 5, such as the 4-inch Retina Display with 1,136x640 resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video recording camera, to name a few.
Two notable changes is the addition of iOS 7 and the color options for the iPhone 5c. The new smartphone will be offered in blue, green, pink, white, and yellow variants.
"iPhone 5c is everything iPhone 5 was and more, in an all-new design packed with great features," said Apple's Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller. "iPhone 5c is designed with a beautiful polycarbonate enclosure that looks and feels so solid in your hand."
