The cast of  "Once Upon a Time" will be embarking on a new adventure when they travel to the famous land that is second star to the right and straight on till morning. The characters will be heading to Neverland for an 11-episode arc to save Emma's (Jennifer Morrsion) son, Henry. Morrison commented on Emma's leading role in the journey with TVLine.

"She's [Emma] surrounded by people who have been at each other's throats for different reasons and are continuing to be," Morrison said. "But we are not going to be able to save Henry unless we all come together, so she has to be the voice of reason to overcome those differences. It's going to leave room for new alliances that we don't expect and also new conflicts."

The new season may also have Charming and Aurora, who were both under sleeping curses, communicate with each other to let everyone know that Bae is alive. As to the possibility that they will communicate, series co-creator Edward Kitsis hinted, "They might! I would certainly try it."

Co-creator Adam Horowitz also shared what "Once's" version of Ariel, played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, would be like. Horowitz said that Ariel adheres to her classic attributes: "Adventurous. Spitfire. Romantic."

It was recently reported that Gil McKinney of "Friday Night Lights" and "Supernatural" will be assuming the role of the Ariel's love interest, the handsome Prince Eric. Both Ariel and Prince Eric will debut in the upcoming season's sixth episode, which is aptly titled "Ariel." The characters from Storybrooke will most likely meet Ariel and her prince in Neverland.

Viewers may also see the past connection between Ariel and Regina. Regina referred to a "certain mermaid" in a past episode titled "Skin Deep." Fans have speculated that the "certain mermaid" referred to is everyone's favorite red-headed mermaid. Although it is not definite, Horowitz said that "we might" flash back to an encounter between Ariel and Regina.

Rose McIver has also joined the cast as Peter Pan's feisty sidekick, Tinker Bell, and Sean Maguire ("East Enders") has taken over the role of Robin Hood after Tom Ellis' exit.

The third season of "Once Upon a Time" premieres Sunday, September 29 on ABC.
