The "Modern Family" actress has had a big year, managing to consolidate an enviable portfolio of promotional contracts for brands like Diet Pepsi, Covergirl and Rooms To Go, besides managing her own line of feminine clothing for Kmart.
On the other hand, Kaley Cuoco, who plays the popular protagonist Penny on the CBS smash hit comedy "The Big Bang Theory," and Mariska Hargitay of "Law and Order: Special Victims Unit" shared the second spot on the list with $11 million.
Seven actresses share the fourth place on Forbes' list of television's best paid actresses, including the Kardashian sisters; Tina Fey, Bethenny Frankel and Ellen Pompeo, each with an income of $10 million.
On spots 11 and 12 are two actresses from comedy "How I Met Your Mother," Cobie Smulders--who played S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Maria Hill in Marvel's blockbuster 2012 movie adaptation of "The Avengers"--and Alyson Hannigan, of "American Pie" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fame, with $9 and $8 million, respectively.
