Footballers Gerard Piqué, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Mascherano, Andrés Iniesta and Sergio Busquets are the protagonists of the commercial for Qatar Airways, which will soon be aired in many countries around the world.
According to TVNotas, the commercial shows the players, including the latest player signed to the team Neymar, in their team uniform and with Barcelona team logos.
However, the commercial also shows Piqué, who is also Shakira's boyfriend, playing the role of a customs officer, behind a passport control booth, checking Neymar's documents, while in another scene, footballers Iniesta and Busquets are painting a wall with the colors of the team using a football instead of a brush.
Infobae shared the behind-the-scenes images, which included shots of the footballers' doubles. Spanish newspaper Sport, on the other hand, shared highlights from the project's recording.
The sports newspaper pointed out that the player's doubles had a large part to play. It also reported that "Mascherano found out that his double was an old friend with whom he had played in the lower divisions of River Plate. He was very excited and gifted him his Barça jersey."
Meanwhile, Busquet and Iniesta's doubles recorded their part in the Plaza de les Glories in the early morning. Both players, on the other hand, did their takes inside a studio where, by accident, Busquets stained a black canvas belonging to the studio because a football with paint had been off target, which worried the staff.
Carles Puyol's double had a strong resemblance, according to Sport, to footballer Piqué and the staff confused him with the player constantly. Messi's part was to show up the way he does at the playing field, whose entrance didn't quite convince the staff. He responded, "This is really what I do before a match, I don't do anything special."
The video is titled "A Country Called Barça" and can already be seen in some social networks and on YouTube. It has received acceptance from fans of the Spanish team.
