Everyone wants to be on television. Whether reality, a brief cameo on a particular show, or a career path, in some way, shape or form, that desire to broadcast that beaming face to the rest of the world lives deep within every one of us. It's not always for the fame, although many do wrongfully associate the two. Some celebrities who have achieved fame in other facets are still drawn to the TV allure.
And now the most celebrated Olympic athlete of all time will be making his way in front of the camera's on USA Network's hit series, "Suits." According to TVLine, in Season 3's winter premiere, which airs early 2014, Phelps will be making his way to the firm. The swimmer has long been a potential client that Harvey has sought after but never caught. He's the one that got away. But when Scottie tries to land him for herself, Harvey is forced to confront their complicated past in hopes of salvaging his dream.
Scottie won't be the only one whose relationship with Harvey will be addressed. As fans know, his relationship with Donna has been one giant roller coaster ride, and the final episodes leading up to the midseason finale will help answer any lingering questions.
"I think both Harvey and Donna might be surprised by what it brings up for them, the issues in their relationship that they need to address and ultimately that they are incredibly loyal to each other and have a really solid foundation," said Sarah Rafferty, who plays Donna, about the remainder of the season. She also claimed that their relationship "should be dragged out, our knowledge of them, of why they are the way they are, right? You should not be able to figure it out for a long time. Also, I think they're two complicated people who don't know themselves."
Harvey is going to have his hands full. Between juggling his rocky relationships with his coworkers and pursuing a potential monster client, fans wouldn't be surprised if he dropped dead of an aneurism by the end of the season.
"Suits" mid-season finale airs on September 17.
