The update for the Lumia 520 has been confirmed for carriers lusacell, Movistar, and Telcel. However, Nokia has labeled the update's status as "Waiting for approval."
As Latinos Post reported, Nokia has defined the term "waiting for approval" as undergoing final test with either the specific country or mobile carrier before approval. A second definition is "coming soon," and it means the update has been approved but is in "final pre-release checks."
The Lumia 620 will receive the Windows Phone 8 Amber Update through carriers Movistar and Telcel, but it is also "Waiting for approval."
Telcel's Lumia 720 Amber rollout is also waiting approval.
The Lumia 820's Amber Update with carriers Movistar and Telcel continues the "Waiting for approval" status.
Finally, the Lumia 920 will receive the Windows Phone 8 Amber Update via lusacell, Movistar, and Telcel, however, it too is waiting approval.
As Latinos Post noted, the Windows Phone 8 Nokia Lumia Amber Update improves the smartphone's camera, particularly the auto focus, noise filter, and low-light photo-taking capabilities, to name a few.
