A behind the scenes featurette for the new "Divergent" film has been revealed.
In the short video, "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley explains the plot and her character Tris. "In the 'Divergent' world, once you leave the nest, there's no going back," she says in the new video.
The cast, made up of Theo James, Maggie Q, and Jai Courtney, also explain that in the world of "Divergent" people are split into five factions based on traits.
Kate Winslet who plays the villain in the series adds, "These five different factions are families, [and] you have to choose to belong to one of them."
The new preview shows a number of stunts Woodley had to go through as well as scenes with Winslet. It also features scenes that were included in the trailer that was unveiled during the MTV VMAs.
"Divergent" is one of the most anticipated films of the year and another young adult fantasy series that will try to establish itself as a tentpole franchise. The film has already received comparisons to "The Hunger Games" and Summit Entertianment hopes the new film will obtain the same success. If it does, then a sequel, "Insurgent," will be made.
"Divergent" is based on the Veronica Roth novel and director Neil Burger promises the film will be close to the novel.
Summit Entertainment will release the film, which also stars Zoe Kravitz, Ashley Judd, and Ray Stevenson. Burger directed the film adaptation from the novel by Veronica Roth. The movie will be released on March 21, 2014.
