Can you feel the autumn breeze? As it slowly descends from the north, it runs down our spines and embeds a chill deep in your bones. It’s impossible to shake. It’s the point of no return, and that point has almost been breached. The leaves will soon begin to change. The nights will become longer, colder. The night dwellers will soon embark from their winter caves in a rabid hunger, anxious to feed. It’s the season’s indubitable call, and the beasts instinctually call. To make matters even eerier, October will bring along not only Halloween, but the return of “American Horror Story.”

In growing anticipation of its upcoming season, “Coven” continues to beef up its cast for its premiere. At first, an almost entirely female cast dominated Season 3, however, now as the production barrels towards the premiere, more casting details, particularly those surrounding male actors, continue to flood the "American Horror Story" rumor wheelhouse.

In most recent news, funnyman Leslie Jordan will be joining the “Coven” cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the details are currently shoved under the rung, but the comedian-actor first announced it on his Facebook page.

“BIG NEWS: On September 5, 2013 in New Orleans I join the storied cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY. I have always loved Mr. Murphy’s work and am so honored.” Jordan went on to write a more lengthy post, mentioning members of the cast such as Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett.

Although his specific role remains murky, it could be possible that he’ll fill the role of Dr. David Zhong, whose truth serum will play an integral role in “Coven.” At the onset of the season, Dr. Zhong claims that the serum needs another two years before it's ready, despite a yearning character named Maude who demands to take it immediately. There are plenty of directions "Coven" could go here, but it appears as though an immature youth serum could cause detrimental side effects that could drive the season forward.

Fans will have to wait until the eerie autumn months to see for themselves. “American Horror Story: Coven” will return to FX on October 9.
