New Showtime drama "Ray Donovan" about a professional Hollywood "fixer" has quickly become a fan favorite. The dark new show, which stars Liev Schreiber as Ray, only has three episodes left of its successful debut season.

The show focuses on Ray, a Boston native, who is a "fixer" for the powerful Hollywood law firm Goldman and Drexler, which represents celebrities. Ray experiences his own problems when his father, Mickey (Jon Voight), is unexpectedly released from prison. This season has focused on Ray getting Mickey out of his life. Ray turned to Sully (James Woods), a man who hates Mickey as much as Ray does, to take his revenge out on Mickey.

In the last episode, "Road Trip," Avi (Steven Bauer) drives Sully and his girlfriend across the country to Los Angeles. Ray is tracking their progress because Sully is a wanted fugitive. On the way, Sully strangles his girlfriend after learning that she made a phone call to her parents.

Meanwhile, Tommy (Austin Nichols) was caught marrying a man in Vegas through photos taken by a photographer named Marty Grossman, who uses the photos to blackmail Tommy for $2 million. Ray and Tommy meet with Marty, with Tommy thinking he is giving Marty the $2 million. Ray kills Marty's bodyguard, and threatens Marty, saying, "You ever go back on a deal with me again, I'll kill you." The episode ends with Mickey taking out Van (Frank Whaley) with a bullet to the back of his head.

According to Showtime, the next episode, titled "Fite Nite," will focus on Ray and his family attending "Fite Nite" at the Donovan Fite Club. Ray also fleshes out the plan with Sully about how to go about killing Mickey.

The episode also features Ray meeting with an "unlikely lady," and Bunchy (Dash Mihok) encountering someone from his past that throws his life out of whack.

The episode after "Fite Nite" will be called "Bucky F**kin' Dent," and will focus on Ray using Avi to protect Abby (Paula Malcomson) and his kids from Sully, who apparently becomes a threat.

Will Sully successfully kill Mickey? Find out on the next episode, which airs on Sunday, September 8 on Showtime.
