Despite rumors, it appears that country music's superstar couple, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, are not heading toward a $135 million divorce.
Last week, the National Enquirer published a cover story claiming Hill and McGraw's marriage was on the rocks because McGraw feels like he's mistreated by his wife. It went on to say that Hill allegedly has trust issues and has accused her 46-year-old husband of having "sexual chemistry" with 23-year-old singer Taylor Swift, who opened for him on tour in the early stages of her career.
According to the tabloid's unidentified sources, McGraw is fed up and "threatening to walk," and "Faith thinks she has Tim under her thumb, but she may be in for a big surprise!"
Although McGraw is close with Swift, the allegations seem farfetched. McGraw recently opened up about what he thinks is his secret to a long and happy marriage.
"The easy answer is just to shut up and not say anything, that's easy. But really it's a lot of give and take and it's a lot of no ultimatums," he said in an interview with The Huffington Post.
Representatives of both Hill and McGraw have denied the divorce claims, with McGraw's even adding that the scuttlebutt was "totally false and ridiculous," according to GossipCop.com.
Adding to doubts about the celebrity couple's divorce, the husband and wife of 16 years are often cited as providing a good example of balancing family life and successful careers, and they have claimed they never spend more than three days apart.
