Mexican forward, Javier "Chicharito" Hernández, who currently plays for Manchester United, is among the 25 best paid forwards in the world, according to Transfermarkt. The list is topped by Argentinian player Lionel Messi, who plays for Barcelona.

According to the list, the Mexican forward holds the No. 22 spot on the list, with his €22 million (approx. $30 million) earnings. Despite the fact that the Manchester player is not part of the current roster and is a substitute, the quality of his playing along with the goals he scores in the few minutes he's on the playing field, have generated enough interest that other teams want him to play for them.

According to Mexican newspaper El Universal, the playing quality of "Chicharito" has piqued the interest of different football clubs, such as Rome's AS and Tottenham, which are looking to sign the Mexican player with an almost guaranteed spot on the roster. Meanwhile, the player is still fighting for the same spot in Manchester United.

David Moyes, the new manager for the "Red Devils," recently said that Javier Hernández is a very profitable player despite him being a substitute, according to newspaper Excelsior.
