More HTC One X handset owners are going to be happy - this time in Europe. We had already seen the Android 4.2.2 roll out for the HTC One X and the HTC One X+ in the company's home country of Taiwan, but now it looks like the Android Jelly Bean update is making its way across the globe.

The Android 4.2.2 update, which includes Sense 5 for the HTC One X, was first spotted being talked about on the XDA forum by Android Central. Reports from that forum have the update version number being 4.18.401.2. It's believed that the Android 4.2.2 update is first coming to Scandinavia and parts of Eastern Europe, which includes Denmark and Slovakia, according to the Android watching tech blog.

The update should be available over the air (OTA), and if you live in that region, you should be getting a notification on your HTC One X. The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update, along with the newest HTC UI, Sense 5, should come in at around 380MB, so you'll definitely want to download this through a Wi-Fi connection.

According to HTC leaker on Twitter @LlabTooFeR, HTC One X+ handsets should also be getting an Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 update soon, this time software version 2.18.401.2, so keep your heads up for that.

The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update will include improved performance and better battery handling for more endurance, some new Zoe camera apps and features, such as focus lock, and HTC's automatic video highlight reel with 12 themes and styles to choose from. HTC One X owners can also look forward to BlinkFeed, the scrolling content aggregator, which brings all of your updates into one big widget with constantly updating live tiles.

The HTC One X came out before the HTC One, and is a mid-tier device featuring a 1.5GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 4.7-inch display with 720p picture.
