Nokia launched a new Lumia 925 advertisement that subliminally references its rivals within 36 seconds.
The advertisement focuses on the flash photography during night shots.

The advertisement starts with a man biting into an apple while a friend to his right wears a shirt that features a coffee mug, both references to Apple Inc. and Java, respectively.
A female friend accompanies the friends as they wait for their photo to be taken. The photographer is a guy wearing a shirt featuring a droid figure, perhaps a reference to Google's Android.
Due to the lack of lighting in the area, the friends wait for random cars to drive up so the headlights can provide an equivalent to flash photography.
The plan doesn't work, though, and the photo still appears dark.
"The best photos in any light. Even without flash," says the ad's tagline.
The advertisement follows Nokia's previous video comparing the Lumia 925 to Apple's iPhone 5 based on photography. Side-by-side images are shown in the advertisement comparing the two smartphones. The first image shown was a skateboarder under the Lumia 925's action shot, motion blur, and best shot images next to one iPhone 5 snapshot. A second featured a couple with flash photography. The third image featured stuffed animals. The same flash concept then continued with a fruit dessert.
"Everyday, more photos are taken on the iPhone 5 than any other phone, but at Nokia, we prefer to build for quality, not just quantity," said the narrator of the "Better Photos Every Day" commercial.
The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time on a 3G network.
