Loud squeals ravage your ears. The smell of burning rubber makes your stomach churn. The smell of stale cigarette smoke clings to your clothes. A warm whisky burns your throat and rots your insides on a hot California afternoon. Now you hear the call. It's the moment to mount your Harley and take to the open road. The sun is setting on yet another summer as fall creeps into your bones. You feel the cooler air comb your gnarled hair as you pick up speed. You're a member of SAMCRO and you're on your way to the season 6 premiere of "Sons of Anarchy."
The new season is right around the corner and everybody wants a piece of the action. While it might be a bit challenging to become an actual member of Charming's finest, there are plenty of other ways to celebrate and revel in the show's unparalleled brute awesomeness. One way to do so is by making your very own spin-off parody, at least that's what "Sesame Street" did.
In the video, Jax, Clay, Bobby and Tig ride as the "Sons of poetry." The innocent clip caters less to violence and gun running, choosing instead to put their energy into their fresh rhymes. "Just a hobby, right, Bobby?" "No big, Tig." "Relax, Jax." Whatever you say, Clay." It's not quite as hardcore as "Sons of Anarchy," but it's close, kind of.
Showrunner Kurt Sutter expressed his appreciation for the video via Twitter, saying, "growing up with bert & ernie, having a 6 yr. old who loves elmo. this meant so much to me. thank you 'Sesame Street.' Check out the video for yourself below.
The real "Sons of Anarchy" will return to FX September 10.
