With the D23 expo approaching in the next few weeks, anticipation is starting to build with many fans wondering what will be announced by Disney for the new "Star Wars Episode VII" film.

While Disney has not confirmed any news yet, the company has hinted a few things that could be announced.

1. Cast: Throughout the past year, it has been rumored that Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill would reprise their roles from the original film. Fisher and franchise creator George Lucas confirmed the news in March, but later denied it. Hamill said he was interested in the film, while Ford failed to speak about his involvement. Additionally, it was recently revealed that the casting was underway and production was looking for young actors. The casting breakdown included seven key roles, including a young man in his early-to-mid 20s, two young females who both have to be physically fit and an older man in his 70s. It was later revealed that Zac Efron and Ryan Gosling had auditioned for the role and were favorites to play lead roles. This past month production announced that it was going to start shooting in August. If the rumor is true than casting will definitely be revealed.

2. Plot Line: The film has been kept under wraps with no plot line revealed. However, after a picture of scripts was released on Twitter it may be likely that director J.J Abrams and writer Michael Arndt will speak about the plot.

3. Concept Art: Kathleen Kennedy said that the film will be concentrating on characters and plot over CGI and effects. For the previous installments Lucas drew concept art for the franchise before shooting the films in order to create an idea for the movies. As a result, production may reveal designs of the film or early sketches for ideas and characters.

"Star Wars Episode VII" is set for release in 2015 with production rumored to begin this month. The D23 expo will begin on Aug. 9.
