Sony has had massive success with the Xperia line of smartphones, and now a new leak has revealed new details about one of the upcoming models: the Xperia !1 Homani.
The apparent leak shows new information about the device's camera, as well as the options that it will open up for users.
The photos originally came from a Vietnamese Facebook page, and have since spread to GSM Arena as well as Know Your Mobile. The set of three photos shows the device through various angles, and reveal that the device will have a 20 megapixelxel camera. The camera will also have an f/2.0 aperture and 5mm focal length, a Xenon flash and BIONZ image, which will work with the Sony Cybershot camera app. However, the resolution of the camera has yet to be confirmed.
XDA Developers had already leaked details about the Cybershot Camera App. It will have various filters and options for users to apply to their photos, similar to how the Instagram app functions for other devices. The app will also feature the ability to perform a visual search with the Info eye. The return of Cybershot comes after Sony and Ericsson split and Sony discontinued a line of devices dedicated to Cybershot in 2012.
In terms of how the smartphone is designed, it looks as though the Xperia !1 Homani will look similar to the Xperia Z and the Xperia Z Ultra. Though the specs of the Xperia !1 Homani have yet to be released, the current rumor for the device's hardware includes a 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU with 2GB RAM, with a 5in full HD display and operates on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
