Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller reveal that they had fun beating each other up during the filming of their upcoming film "Divergent."
Woodley and Teller told the Hollywood Reporter that they were comfortable doing the action sequences together. For the new film they will play mortal enemies and Teller said, "I knew I'd be comfortable doing any kind of stuff with Shailene. And they told me I got to beat her up... [I] started doing some pushups."
He added, "Shailene was right there when we were doing the boot camp The chin ups, the push ups, the gun work. Shailene was the leader on that."
"Divergent" is set in a futuristic dystopia, where a teenager seeks to break free from her homogeneous society that divides people based on human traits. She leaves her faction and joins a rival group, where she falls for an older man.
During the interview, the two actors also had the chance to speak about their new movie "The Spectacular Now," where they play lovers. Woodley and Teller revealed that their favorite scene of the film was the prom scene. Teller said, "I like the prom scene too because... I thought you looked really cute in your prom dress."
Meanwhile, Woodley admitted she is not a fan of the cafeteria scene in the film because it was one of the first scenes they shot. She said, "It was one of those scenes where we cringe all the time."
"The Spectacular Now" tells the story of a hard-partying high schooler whose philosophy on life changes when he meets the not-so-typical "nice girl."
