The producers of the hit series "Castle" have remained tight lipped on the upcoming season. They've left fans eagerly waiting on the edges of their seats to see what Kate Beckett decides in the wake of the ultimatum presented to her during the season 5 finale. She has two options: stay in New York City and continue working as a detective or make her way to Washington D.C. and make more money working for the FBI. The catch? She'd have to leave a marriage proposal behind.

But Beckett isn't the only enthralling character that has fans looking forward to the upcoming sixth season. Besides, although nothing has been confirmed, but all signs point to Beckett moving down to Washington. Her fate is unofficially determined. Castle on the other hand, also has a big season ahead of him.

According to TVLine, Castle will tackle a case that will involve the cast of an early 90s sitcom similar to "Saved By the Bell." The show is called "2 Cool For School" and will even feature similar characters to those in "Saved By the Bell." The case is brought to Castle's attention when its version of Screech is axed. Awesome. The murder will take place when the cast of "2 Cool For School" reunites to make a reunion movie decades after the show supposedly aired.

Now back to Beckett's ultimatum, a previous interview with Stana Katic, who plays Beckett on the show, indicates her mind is already made up.

"If she drops the FBI gig, she's a loser," Katic said. "This is a modern woman's story, and I don't want to send the message that a woman has to choose love over a career. New York and D.C. are not that far apart, and Rick's a millionaire. They can travel. I think it would really be a big disservice to the character to create a job opportunity like this and let it peter out."

"Castle" will return to ABC September 23.
