Shailene Woodley admits she is afraid Jennifer Lawrence hates her.
During a recent interview with the Huffington Post promoting her new movie "The Sepctacular Now," Woodley confessed she fears Lawrence may be upset with her for telling the public that Lawrence gave her advice. Woodley admitted, "I'm so worried that [Jennifer's] going to hate me for saying that."
At Comic-Con Woodley said that she asked Lawrence for advice if she should take the role in the upcoming film "Divergent." She stated, "I have still yet to meet Jennifer in the flesh, but I had a slight interaction with her where I asked her about 'Hunger Games' and what it was like, and her life and how much it has changed. It was nice asking someone who has been through the process and is kind of seasoned in the young-adult franchise. She gave me really beautiful advice and said that I should definitely take it. It will be the best thing that ever happened. But don't be an idiot, do a sex tape, or do drugs. And go to Whole foods when your movie opens."
Over the past few months fans have begun a competition over who is the better Young Adult actress and have even spread rumors that Woodley and Lawrence were best friends. During the interview, Woodley said, "I think people invite themselves into other peoples personal business [laughs]. To be frank. I would love to get to know Jen, but I have never even met her. She just gave me so really cool advice.
Woodley's new film "The Spectacular Now" is set for release Aug. 2, which also stars her "Divergent" co-star Miles Teller. "Divergent" will be released on March 21 and also stars Kate Winslet, Theo James, Jai Courtney, Maggie Q, Ashley Judd, and Ray Stevenson.
