Some films withstand the test of time. They reverberate throughout the generations. If asked to think back on the classics that have defined the industry, several quickly pop into mind. Think back on the Disney classics alone. Films like "Cinderella" and "Snow White" have been some of the most adorned and recreated stories of all time. One of them in particular even got its own modern day television series.

"Beauty and the Best" is gearing up for its second season, and in the wake of its season 1 success, it's pulling out all the stops to make its newest episodes unforgettable. Following the season 1 finale, fans were left with a handful of pressing questions that season 2 will answer. How will things change without Vincent around? Who is Catherine's father? Luckily for fans, executive producer Jennifer Levin and the cast had plenty to share during Thursday's Comic-Con panel, according to TV Guide.

For starters, Catherine will found out who her true father is, but it's only going to spark a burning desire to find him.

As for Vincent, fans will learn more about his past and who he is. "Our theme for the year, if we have one, is: Who am I? That would apply for all of our characters," Levin said.

"A lot of his backstory is going to come through and a lot of that mythology of who Vincent is is going to come out. It's a lot to chew on for me," said actor Jay Ryan. "I'm excited for Vincent to have a community outside of the warehouse and just waiting for Catherine and JT to save him."

"We're going to see a more super-charged Vincent," Levin said. "This year we are going to see him be beastier."

"You're going to see a more precise beast in season 2. His skills are more honed," said Ryan. "There's a lot of changes coming up for season 2 in terms of Vincent's character."

There's plenty in motion for Vincent as production on season 2 of "Beauty and the Beast" rolls out and fans can't wait to see how it resolves. The show will return to the CW on October 7.
