Consumers that pre-order the smartphone under AT&T's one-year contract will see the price increase to $549.99. The price increases to $659.99 for a month-to-month deal.

According to AT&T, the pre-ordered devices will not be shipping until July 23, which is three days ahead of the original expected launch date.

As Latinos Post reported, unlocked versions of the Lumia 1020 are also available for pre-orders. As seen on Negri Electronics, the black, white, and yellow models of the Lumia smartphone are priced at $735.50.

The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. A front-facing camera is installed featuring 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1020's camera also packs a 2,000mAh battery.

"AT&T has sold more Windows Phones than any other U.S. carrier and we're thrilled to add the Nokia Lumia 1020 to our growing portfolio," said AT&T Devices Senior Vice President Jeff Bradley. "This smartphone will change the way you think about taking pictures, from its professional camera-like controls to the ability to zoom-in a photo you've taken to discover new details you missed initially."
