New information for the Nokia Lumia 1020 have been disclosed for key European markets ahead of its expected July 26 U.S. release date.
According to Plaffo.com, the Lumia 1020 is available for pre-orders in Italy. The new Windows Phone 8 smartphone can be purchased with a deposit of €99.90, however, the full price is €699.90, which equates to $912 under the U.S. dollar. The device won't be available in Italy until October.
For German customers, carrier O2 has confirmed they will sell the Lumia 1020 and is expected to launch in the country in September. Unlike AT&T in the U.S., a 64GB model of the Lumia 1020 will be available with O2 Germany.

In the United Kingdom, Three and O2 are confirmed to carry the 41-megapixel Lumia 1020. A release date in the U.K. was not revealed but reports stated late this quarter is likely.
Meanwhile in the U.S., the Lumia 1020 will debut first across the 50 states with exclusive carrier AT&T. The smartphone has an expected sale date of July 26 for $299.99 when signing a two-year contract. AT&T or Microsoft are not accepting pre-orders yet but are allowing customers to sign-up for updates.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. A front-facing camera is installed featuring 1.2 megapixels. The Lumia 1020's camera also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
