WWE's "Money In The Bank" (MITB) match has evolved from a match set yearly at Wrestlemania to its own pay-per-view (PPV). This year's MITB PPV takes place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which should make for a lively and rowdy crowd.
The Shield's Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will defend their WWE tag-team belts in the "MITB Kickoff" match on Youtube.com against the Uso Brothers. The Shield have been on a roll and expect them to defeat The Usos in a short but entertainment match.
Kaitlyn gets her WWE Divas championship re-match against AJ Lee, hoping to get a measure of revenge for all of AJ's low-blow taunts about her life. Kaitlyn has been losing her cool of late and figure her to make a mistake the wily champion can capitalize on to retain the belt.
Curtis Axel defends his WWE Intercontinental championship against The Miz. The Miz does not believe the champ is as good as he thinks he is, let alone his legendary father, Curt Hennig. With Paul Heyman by his side, Axel will find a way to keep the title.
Ryback has been on a bit of the down-side of late, having recently quit in the middle of a match against The Miz. Chris Jericho has not made things easier needling the former number one contender with chants of "Cryback" for his constant whining. Ryback should bounce back from his rut finding a way to beat Y2J.
Wade Barrett; Jack Swagger; Antonio Cesaro; US Champion Dean Ambrose, Fandango, Cody Rhodes, and Damien Sandow are the participants of the World Title MITB Ladder Match. Jack Swagger has an advantage, having won the MITB match at WrestleMania XXVI but Ambrose is no stranger to ladders despite this being his first WWE MITB, being a veteran of Combat Zone Wrestler (CZW), an independent extreme wrestling federation. An Ambrose victory could be a jolt to the system that could shake things up and continuing The Shield's major push.
Alberto Del Rio defends his title against former champion Dolph Ziggler, who is coming off a concussion injury. Ziggler has been hounding Del Rio, even dressing up as Sin Cara when Ziggler was banned from the building last Friday Night Smackdown. Del Rio will find a way to keep his gold and extend this feud into Summerslam.
John Cena will also defend the title and attempt to gain some sense of vengeance after being attacked by Mark Henry. "The Worlds Strongest Man" set Cena up during his emotional "retirement" speech, laying out the champion with a powerslam. Expect the champion to keep his title and move on to Summerslam with the belt.
CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Christian, and Rob Van Dam are the participants of the WWE Title MITB "All-Star" Ladder match. While Punk, Orton, Sheamus, and Christian are all looking to hold gold once again; Van Dam is the wild-card, making his return to WWE after a stint at TNA, where he won the World Heavyweight champion and the X-Division champion. Team Hell No has seen their tag-team split over the suitcase, with Bryan stepping up notches in his quest to show Kane and the world he is not a weak link. Kane, will not be the match, however, as "The Big Red Monster" was knocked out the match after he was viciously attacked by the Wyatt Family last Monday Night Raw. Rumors are circulating Bray Wyatt may take Kane's slot, adding more chaos to what should be an exciting night in Philly, WWE's latest acquisition, RVD, may walk away with a shot at Cena's title, much to the delight of his old-school Extreme Championship Wrestling fans.
