Fans of CBS' hit cop drama "Hawaii Five-0" are eagerly waiting for scoop to drop regarding the show's upcoming fourth season and we finally have some details to share. Not much has been leaked since the show ended its third season back on May 20, but new details should have fans excited.
Viewers last left Five-0 as it searched for a run-away federal prisoner connected to a terrorist plot. Meanwhile, Kono (Grace Park) tried to clear her name after her gun was used in a murder. However, things didn't end how Kono expected and she ended up running away herself to China along with Adam (Ian Anthony Dale). Whether Kono will return to Hawaii or remain an international fugitive in the upcoming season remains to be seen.
As for the upcoming season, we know that it will be action packed with some interesting new guest starts. The show, which will move from Monday nights to its new Friday at 9 p.m. time slot, will feature "Lost" alum Jorge Garcia in a guest-starring role, TV Guide reported. According to Entertainment Weekly, Garcia is set to play a conspiracy theorist and will share airtime with his former "Lost" co-star Daniel Dae Kim.
TV Guide also shared some scoop on what fans should expect in the first couple episodes. "Have you seen Taken? Imagine Liam Neeson in a cowboy hat and snakeskin boots and you've got the tough customer who McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) will tumble with in an early episode, in which a trigger-happy Texan is trying to locate his kidnapped daughter," TV Guide's Adam Bryant. Bryant added, "Bonus: The episode's father-daughter theme will also feature Danny and Steve playing coach to little Grace on the baseball diamond."
"Hawaii Five-0" returns for season four on Friday, September 27 at 9 p.m. on CBS.
