July is here and it's here to stay. At least for a month or so. And while it brings with it unbearable heat and introduces us to the latter half of a short-lived summer, it brings along a treat. The season 4 premiere of "Covert Affairs" is smack dab in the middle and now with the 4th of July weekend out of the way, the show's return is right around the corner. In recent weeks, more and more details on the new season have leaked, providing fans with an early glimpse of what's on the "Covert Affairs" summer horizon. Here's a brief overview of what we know so far.

"Auggie and Annie are very much a couple now - as the opening sequence makes 'nakedly' clear," says Matt Mitovich of TV Line. "Likewise, when Kari Matchett told me there are 'interesting things' on tap for Joan and Arthur, my lord, she was not kidding. All told, while I didn't 100 percent follow the case at hand - Annie and Auggie 'vacation' in Colombia to covertly dig into Arthur's past while dodging the local CIA station chief (played by new series regular/CSI: NY alum Hill Harper) - the episode is chock-a-block with exposed secrets... and a final scene that promises to shake up the pecking order."

According to Entertainment Weekly, the premiere have plenty of shirtlessness. "Expect no less than one shocking **e*****, one bullet wound, one graphic bullet removal, and a r********** that will change everything." Well that sounds intriguing.

Season 4 will also add new talent to the cast. "Homeland" actress Zuleikha Robinson will guest star on "Covert Affairs" as Briana, a D.C. power player and one of the city's most formidable defense attorneys. She'll join forces with Arthur and fight to protect his and his family's legacy against damaging allegations.

"Covert Affairs" will return to USA Today on July 16 with the episode titled "Vamos." Check out a preview below.
