With all the folks gathered to celebrate the Fourth of July, Latinos Post lists some relevant information regarding the festivities in New York City - New Jersey as the annual Macy's fireworks show is expected to light up the Hudson River and the New York metropolitan area skyline later this evening.

The 37th annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will begin at 8 p.m. EST and feature various artists including Usher, who according to Macy's Website, collaborated to create this year's fireworks design. The fireworks, however, are expected take place at a later time in the evening.

The Usher-curated show is being called "It Begins with a Spark" and it reportedly involves some 40,000 fireworks going off throughout a synchronized 25-minute period, which is expected to bring attention-drawing color to the joyful occasion.

Macy's website states that the musical score that accompanies the 'Fireworks Spectacular' will include hit songs by Jimi Hendrix, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Cooke, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Frank Sinatra, and Usher as well.

"Using this score as a guide, Usher provided inspiration for the visual design for the show, partnering with Macy's pyrotechnic designers, the Souza brothers," Macy's said.

Executive producer for Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks Amy Kule said, "With this first-ever collaboration with Usher, we are taking the show to the next level of entertainment spectacle, combining the very best of Macy's Fireworks with Usher's unparalleled artistic vision."

"I'm really excited to add my flavor to the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks, the largest show in America. As an artist, it's important that I expand creatively into new areas. Working on the score and fireworks design has been a great experience that has allowed me to share my voice in a new way," Usher said.

The fireworks show will be broadcasted live via NBC at 8 p.m. EST.

Residents of New York and New Jersey will be able to view the fireworks show from any area with an unobstructed view of the sky above the Hudson River.

Macy's will have four barges in the Hudson River, between 24th Street and 42nd Street.

According to Macy's website, to find the best locations to view the fireworks show head to 12th Avenue below 59th Street.
